TYPICAL PARTICIPANT EXPERIENCE

Mel, I would just like to express my gratitude to you for all that you have taught me during the leadership program. When I started the program I was quite unsure of myself. I wasn’t quite sure how I got into this great program with all these apparently very well educated people, very intimidating, to say the least.

Once we began I thought “How is this diverse group going to be able to work together on a project?”  However you taught us to work together not by showing us but  by allowing us to bring our collective experiences to the fore front.

I found the program most enlightening, and for me a real growing experience. Growing in confidence and thus more able to attack the continual challenges that life throws at us.

I just want you to know how much I appreciate what you did for me.  Thank you very much.

Michelle Marshall, Toolangi Tavern, VIC

I was fortunate to participate in the 2 day Genos EI Certification program brilliantly facilitated by Sue Langley in February, 2011.

Sue maintained the engagement of the whole group for the entire 2 days. Her warm professional style captured the imagination of the group and held us through the theory and the practice, the interesting and the routine, plus the highs and lows of our energy. It was a seamless 2 days.

Sue is the best trainer and facilitator I have been with in years.

LATEST FEEDBACK
FINANCIAL PLANNING ASSOCIATION EVENT NOV 2011

“Sue Langley’s presentation was both highly beneficial and engaging. As Financial Planners we tend to focus on the technical details and overlook the emotional forces at play in financial planning. Sue provides the skills to assist in better engaging with the client and understanding the client’s core needs.”

John Ross CFP, Ethos Financial Advisers, Melbourne, VIC

“The Psychology of Advice session was excellent. Sue’s professionalism and understanding of her topic was clearly evident as she succinctly worked through each key take out. A refreshingly different approach to understanding our clients!”

David Burke, Schroder Investment Management Australia, Sydney, NSW

“Sue Langley’s presentation on emotional intelligence was very different to any I had heard before. Very science-based, it provided great depth to an issue of great importance to advisers. Learning how to better communicate with clients is an absolute must especially in the current market with investor confidence at record lows. For anyone, being able to walk away with a greater understanding of how the mind works is valuable in communication of any kind.  An hour-long presentation provided just a taste of how much there is to learn about the way the mind works. I hope to work more with Sue soon.”

Julia Newbould, BT Finance, Sydney, NSW

“I felt I got more out of the half hour I managed to see of your session than I did from the day long workshop with Wayne Lear on the Wednesday – only wish I had heard the whole rather than trying to double dip on sessions ? You seemed to have more of a ‘hands on’ and practical approach to the issues I was seeking training on, including how the brain works and how to best deal with ‘difficult’ clients – hope I get the chance to see more of this in the future.”
