“I did feel that the majority of the modules were beneficial (Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore) and relevant to my job and really helped me on learning more about certain destinations.

I particularly enjoyed doing the Vietnam module it was very helpful and had valuable information.

Overall I did really enjoy doing them as I love a challenge and they were great to add to the knowledge I already had on the areas, I would really like to do a few more of these modules and work my way through them all”

“I was expecting the normal crappy stuff and was pleasantly surprised that I could actually use the information when selling to a client”

“I liked the Singapore module it was not hard to find the information and the questions made sense.

The other two modules (France and Malaysia) I did, had more complex questions.”

“I thought it was fantastic. The South America module that I completed, the content was in depth and covered a whole range of travel related topics.

As an experienced international consultant, it certainly tested me so the difficulty level I thought was about right, there were very few questions that you could answer immediately without going off for a little investigation. It even managed to get me up off my bum using many of the resources around the office; brochures, atlas, Lonely Planet guides, CRS, Travcour, Travel doctor, airline websites, our in house airfare database “Monty” to name some of those that I remember using.

Further destinations I would like to see would be going with the trends of what’s hot with our clients. Current enquiries for travel in 2009 seem to be for journeys through Eastern European countries covering Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Slovenia. The other useful destination would be Japan. More airlines are offering a stopover in Japan en-route to Europe and there is little information from wholesalers on this. Beyond Tokyo it’s difficult to inspire travel throughout Japan due to lack of information.”

“I found the Passport to the World really good. (Thailand, Singapore, South America). It was really helpful and probably the best online training I’ve done (and I’ve done a lot!)

To be honest they were hard, it took a lot of time searching for the answers. You got to know the festivals and shopping centres quite well which was good. I think my favourite was the Singapore one”
