Our principle consultants have over 30 years experience between them in the industry with roles in retail, sales, wholesale, inbound and training and development. They have a passion for making a difference in the industry.


Sue Clarson

Sue is a wonderful addition to the team with 12 years in the travel industry and about 5 years of general retail before that. Her experience spans across all areas of the industry, from frontline sales and service through to operations, human resources, training and management. Sue is a key player in the development of programmes for training people worldwide and the modules for Passport to the World with her in-depth background of travel from Australia and New Zealand. Sue understands the complexities of the travel industry and the ever changing nature of today’s business. Her passion for the industry and especially the people in it, means she is results driven and focused on the success of the industry. Sue’s experience of business and people management mean she has solid skills in developing strategies for business improvement and people development. Sue has managed offices in the travel industry and managed the training and development requirements for a large travel corporation. Sue Langley

Sue’s experience in the travel industry includes frontline sales and management in the retail, wholesale and inbound sectors. She has worked in Australia, UK and Europe. Her management expertise and development techniques saw one organisation double profits two years running in her first two years as manager. She won the inaugural Australian Tourism Commission Best New Initiative Award for an innovative marketing idea that had an average 68% conversion rate.

Sue is passionate about individual and team development and she has a strong belief that everyone can realise their potential and achieve their own level of excellence in their chosen field. Her training reflects this with accelerated learning and discovery techniques. Her inspiring facilitation encourages participants to use what they have learnt.

Janet Langley

Janet joined the training people worldwide team in 2007 and brings expertise in coaching and developing individuals within large and small organisations. Her experience within large enterprises as well as her own successful businesses brings new ideas and particular passion in helping people understand what makes them perform at their optimal level.

Janet has practical experience in various management roles allowing her to understand real life challenges.

She focuses her coaching on people understanding their triggers, self-awareness and self-management, therefore helping them to increase their performance. Her natural style, mixed with drive and determination ensures she gets the best out of people. She has trained with Results Coaching Systems and the International Coaching Academy, both global coach training organisations and her training is accredited with the International Coach Federation.

Janet’s corporate experience includes roles in Australia and UK at a senior level with her focus being on increased revenue, positive people management, communication and teamwork.
